Kent S. Pratt
Mr. Pratt was born and raised in upstate New York before moving to Ft. Lauderdale in 1965. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1973. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 1976 where he received The Victor O. Wehle Award for trial advocacy.
Mr. Pratt has practiced in the West Palm Beach area since 1977 and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He was a founding member of his previous firms of Gaunt, Pratt, Radford, Methe & Rockenbach, P.A., Pratt, Radford, Cooke and Barrett, P.L., and Pratt & Radford, P.L. He and Stephen Radford have practiced together since 1981 and continue their practice together as Pratt & Radford, P.L.
Mr. Pratt is Board Certified in Civil Trial having first received certification in 1986. He is a member of the Workers’ Compensation and Trial Sections of the Florida Bar and a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
Mr. Pratt is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale Hubbell. Mr. Pratt is a trial attorney practicing in the areas of personal injury and general liability defense, workers’ compensation and construction defect litigation. He has handled complex cases in each field and in many circuits in the State of Florida.
Mr. Pratt is also certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a circuit civil mediator. He is available throughout Florida to mediate civil and workers’ compensation matters. Please see our mediation page.
